Dr. Swati Mahajan brings more than a decade of experience in pediatric hospital medicine and urgent care to Mindful Pediatrics, along with a calm, thoughtful approach that helps families feel supported in both routine and stressful moments.
Education & Training
She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from Florida State University before completing her pediatric residency at Texas Children’s Hospital at Baylor College of Medicine. She is board-certified in pediatrics and later pursued specialized training in quality improvement through the Quality Academy at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, strengthening her commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality care.
Her Approach to Care
Throughout her career, Dr. Mahajan has cared for children across a wide range of ages and needs. Her years in hospital and urgent care settings have given her a strong clinical foundation for recognizing when symptoms need immediate attention—and when families simply need clear guidance and reassurance. She also has a particular interest in helping children and families build healthy, sustainable lifestyle habits.
Outside the Office
Dr. Mahajan lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, reading, traveling with her family, and spending quality time with her kids. Her own family life reinforces the practical, balanced approach she brings to the families she cares for.
