Vaccine Policy
At Mindful Pediatrics, we prioritize the health and well-being of your child, and one crucial aspect of our commitment to preventive care is the strong endorsement of vaccinations. We recommend the vaccination schedule outlined by two authoritative bodies, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Antibiotics
At Mindful Pediatrics, we follow evidence based guidelines and work hard to not overuse antibiotics. We do not prescribe antibiotics over the phone and do not believe that is good medical care.
Dr. Thomas will prescribe antibiotic when she believes it is an appropriate treatment.
Technology
Mindful Pediatrics prides itself on efficiency through use of technology. We have online registration, payment, developmental screens, refill options through our patient portal. We also
offer telemedicine visit.
Insurance
Make sure we participate with your insurance plan. Click here for a list of our participating insurances. It is your responsibility to know the limits and coverage of your particular health insurance policy, to show your cards to us at each visit, and be prepared to pay any copays at the time of service.
Our billing staff will do their best to assist you with insurance questions; however, if you have questions about your coverage, it is best to check with your specific insurance company.
